Winter book discussions—three books

Mark your calendars. Sustainable Charlotte and the Charlotte Library will be co-hosting three book discussions—books that are related in many ways and will surprise, engage, and challenge the readers about our planet. Each book will be discussed over five weeks with a week rest between books. This is all take place on Zoom. The links will be posted in the event section as we draw closer to the dates.

We begin with Becoming Earth by Ferris Jabr, beginning on January 28, 2026. Next we’ll discuss Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake, beginning on March 11, 2026. And the third book is The Light Eaters by Zoe Schlanger, beginning on April 22, 2026.

Books will be available on loan or purchase through the Charlotte Library.
