After living in Charlotte for more than 30 years Ruah Swennerfelt and Louis Cox will be moving to their new home near Eugene, Oregon, at the end of July. As founding members of Sustainable Charlotte Vermont they leave us with a legacy of their service to our community especially in the areas of promoting sustainable living practices, education, and community organizing.
Please join Sustainable Charlotte Vermont and the Charlotte Grange for a strawberry shortcake social to celebrate their many contributions, and give them a proper send-off. We’ll be at the Grange, 2858 Spear St. Come and learn about Sustainable Charlotte Vermont (SCV) that this dynamic couple started in 2005.
We will be collecting donations to support expansion of the Charlotte Library's collection on sustainable communities. Please bring something to include in a scrapbook at the welcome table.
Please RSVP to: info@sustainablecharlottevt.org
Parking note at the Grange: Please do not obstruct the driveway of the red brick Baptist Church which is now a private residence. Overflow parking will be available at the Catholic Church just south of the Grange.
