Back by popular demand, join us for a repeat screening of the award-winning documentary From Earth to Earth: The Lost Art of Dying in America in recognition of its 2nd anniversary.This powerful 20-minute film explores the growing movement of natural burial—an environmentally conscious alternative to conventional funerals and cremation. Through personal stories of pioneers, advocates, and families, the documentary traces the reemergence of this once-common practice. It highlights the journey toward the (re)legalization of natural burial and the founding of Vermont’s first entirely natural burial ground. The documentary will be followed by a Question and Answer session and time for personal discussions. Program provided in partnership with the Charlotte Library and Sustainable Charlotte Vermont.
